Orientation Programme
The Erasmus+ Office runs an individual orientation programme in the arrival week for every exchange student coming to the University. The aim is to complete registration, OLA, campus, city and official formalities within the first week so that you start the semester ready.

Individually or in small groups depending on the number of incoming students; held in the week before classes start.

Meeting with the departmental Erasmus+ coordinator; timetable and course matching; OLA/EWP approval flow and add/drop deadlines; grade conversion and transcript procedure |

Library, dining hall and meal card, sports facilities, SKS health unit, student clubs; campus e-mail and Wi-Fi |

City-centre tour (markets, pharmacies, banks/ATMs, minibus lines); documents and appointment for the residence permit; SIM card; emergency numbers (112) and safety briefing |

Meeting students of your department; student clubs; trip suggestions in Kilis and the region; feedback session |

Before you arrive
Complete these so that orientation runs smoothly.
Documents
Passport (+ copy), Acceptance Letter, health insurance valid in Türkiye, 4 biometric photos, visa/e-visa printout if applicable.
Academic
Course selection from the Bologna catalogue and the "Before the Mobility" section of the OLA approved by your home institution.
Accommodation
Your preference (KYK / private dormitory / flat) sent to the office and accommodation arranged for the first night.
Arrival details
Arrival date, time and route (Gaziantep Airport / bus terminal) sent to erasmus@kilis.edu.tr at least one week in advance.

What you will have at the end of orientation
- Signed Certificate of Arrival
- Student ID card and OBS account
- Approved timetable and up-to-date OLA
- Document list and appointment plan for the residence permit
- Contact details of your departmental coordinator and the office staff
