Planning notes for incoming students

  • Arrival: arriving at least one week before classes start (week of 7 September for autumn, 8 February for spring) leaves enough time for registration and orientation.
  • OLA changes are completed within the add/drop period.
  • Departure: the Transcript of Records and Certificate of Attendance are issued after the final/resit exams; book your return accordingly.
  • Public holidays: no classes on 29 October, 1 January, 23 April, 1 May, 19 May and during religious holidays (2027: Ramadan Feast in March, Feast of Sacrifice in May).
  • Faculty-specific dates: preparatory classes and some units may end at different dates; ask your departmental coordinator.
