Campus

Kilis 7 Aralık University offers a green, walkable campus 5–10 minutes from the city centre. Teaching takes place on three sites: the Main Campus, Karataş Campus and Mercidabık Campus. The International Relations Office is on the Main Campus; health-science departments such as Nursing are at Karataş.

The central dining hall is run by the Health, Culture and Sports Department (SKS); lunch is served at the student rate (35 TL) and the weekly menu is published online. Canteens and cafés are available on campus. Weekly menu →

Library and study spaces

The Central Library is open to students throughout the term; electronic databases are accessible from the campus network. Erasmus+ students borrow with their student ID.

Sports and social life

Futsal pitch and sports facilities are booked through SKS. Student clubs are open to Erasmus+ students — joining one is the fastest way to settle in. SKS →

Health

A health unit under SKS operates on campus; Kilis State Hospital is in the city centre for emergencies. The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is not valid in Türkiye — take out travel health insurance before arrival.

Kilis is a small city: 5–10 minutes by minibus between the centre and the campus.

Your First Week

 
  • Visit the Erasmus+ Office (Rectorate, 2nd floor) to register and collect your Certificate of Arrival.
  • Get your student ID card — needed for the dining hall, library and sports facilities.
  • Join the orientation programme: Orientation
  • Contact the Erasmus+ Office within the first week about your residence-permit application; the office helps with the appointment and documents.
  • Finalise any changes to your OLA within the first 2–5 weeks.
