Grants

Erasmus+ grants are financial contributions intended to support students’ living costs during their mobility abroad. They are provided in accordance with the rules of the European Commission and the Turkish National Agency and are paid by Kilis 7 Aralık University.

The university applies the officially defined country groups and grant amounts.

These amounts are officially determined by the Turkish National Agency and are binding for all higher education institutions.

 

How Are Grants Paid?

• Students sign a grant agreement before departure.
• 80% of the total grant is paid before mobility begins.
• The remaining 20% is paid after the student returns and submits all required documents.

If the mobility period is shorter than planned, unused grant amounts must be refunded.

 

Additional Financial Support

Extra monthly support is available for:

• Students with disabilities
• Students with limited economic opportunities
• Children of martyrs and veterans
• Students affected by natural disasters

These supports are funded by additional National Agency resources.
