Application Process (Incoming Students)
For students coming to Kilis 7 Aralık University under Erasmus+, the process starts with a nomination by the partner university and ends with the Acceptance Letter. Applications are open only to students of partner institutions with a valid inter-institutional agreement.

Note: From Autumn 2027, nomination and application dates have been brought forward to allow sufficient time for visa and residence permit procedures and to ensure that students are on campus for course registration (early September).
Dates are confirmed by the Erasmus+ Office each semester; your home university must complete the nomination within this window. Late applications are carried over to the next semester.

Five steps
1Nomination
Your home university's Erasmus+ office sends your name, e-mail, department, study level, mobility type (study) and semester to erasmus@kilis.edu.tr.
2Application form and documents
You complete the online application form sent to you and upload documents as PDF: passport copy, current transcript, photo, language certificate (if any), draft Learning Agreement.
3Evaluation and acceptance
The departmental coordinator checks course suitability; the result is sent by e-mail. Accepted students receive a signed Acceptance Letter (required for the visa).
4OLA / course approval
Courses are chosen from the Bologna catalogue and the Online Learning Agreement is approved by all three parties (student, home institution, Kilis 7 Aralık) via EWP.
5Pre-arrival
Visa/e-visa, health insurance, accommodation preference and arrival details sent to the office; orientation in the arrival week.

Visa and residence
- Check whether you need a visa on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa page; use the Acceptance Letter for a student visa if required.
- Students staying longer than 90 days apply for a residence permit after arrival; the Erasmus+ Office guides you through the documents and appointment. See Visa & Residence.
